This two day film festival will kick off on Monday, April 2 with a 6:30 screening of the documentary film All I Wanna Do, which will be followed by a discussion led by director Michelle Medina ’05 on the topics of women in Moroccan cinema and her work as a female documentary filmmaker living in Casablanca. At 8pm, Medina will introduce the 1989 feature film Door to the Sky. Ms. Medina has written much about this film and its respected filmmaker, Farida Benlyazid. Ms. Medina will include her research and thoughts about Farida Benlyazid’s work in her presentation. See listing on April 3 for additional events.
