| Title | The 2005 Jackie M. Pritzen Faculty Lecture: Celebrating the Spirit of Cooperation |
|
This year's Jackie M. Pritzen speaker is Margaret Hunt, Professor of History and Women’s and Gender Studies at Amherst College. The title of her talk is "Women, Islam and the Law in Global Historical Perspective." A reception immediately follows the lecture.
Established in 1995 as a tribute to a former member of the Five College staff who retired after 25 years of service, the Jackie M. Prizen Lecture is an annual event. It celebrates the spirit of cooperation by giving special recognition to a faculty member whose contributions to collegiality and to scholarship have been exceptional. |
