The Meandering Thread: The Work of Enid Epstein Mark 54
"The Meandering Thread" is a retrospective exhibition of the work of Enid Mark, presented in her memory and on the occasion of the class of 1954s 55th reunion from Smith College in May 2009. Enid created prints and limited edition artist books at her own ELM Press for more than 25 years, leaving one book unfinished upon her death in September 2008. Many of her books include contemporary poetry by women, and all feature her own illustrations. She collaborated with many other book artists and often explored the theme of fabric and interweaving threads. For more information: Mortimer Rare Book Room, 585-2906 or http://www! .smith.edu/libraries/libs/rarebook/
