Smith College Music Department and Music in Deerfield (MID) present a series of concerts by internationally renowned ensembles and solo artists. All concerts begin at 8 p.m. and are preceded by a 7:00 p.m. pre-concert talk in Earle Recital Hall. March 31 - Ciompi String Quartet Music in Deerfield completes their season with the Ciompi String Quartet, a quartet "from America, but of international stature" (La Sicilia). The program will feature the premiere of a new String Quartet composed for them by Smith College composer, Donald Wheelock.
